The Mud earth cottages are small mud huts (good enough for two persons) with mud floors, bamboo and thatch ceiling, and raw details. Enjoy the forest views from your window, and feel cooled naturally. No AC. The property is located in the enclave of a reserve forest, with a perennial brook along one side. Indulge in homegrown and locally sourced food, with a sparsely populated village and a gated campus where one feels peaceful and secluded.

They are located within Kaaya,  a campus with eight independent rooms/cottage plus host of shared spaces like a small dining/cafeteria, water body/pool, library, play ground, outdoor cooking area, kitchen garden etc. There are always people there, to manage-there is a local team including chef drawn from local community, a resident artist, or kaaya community members. There is usually some activity going on, whether mud construction, landscaping or farming in the day time. Guests have options to get engage as well. Its pretty informal, the guests usually feel at home here.
